Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng today announced that a special exco comittee will be set up to probe cheap land sales by the previous BN administration.
This appears to be part of the Penang government’s counterattack against BN allegations that the opposition-led government has been acting as a land broker.
Lim, who is also DAP secretary general said the state exco Chow Kon Yeow will head the probe.
He added that the probe will cover at least 4,000 acres of state land by the former government led by Gerakan.
